Failure modes

SGW Design works engineers have a great deal of experience troubleshooting and de-bugging products and equipment. Sometimes a cursory design review is enough to identify root causes and solutions to failure issues, but often times, a more in-depth approach is required. SGW Design works employs a system of failure modes and Effects Analysis, which is a disciplined approach to identifying all possible product or mechanism failures, and the effects the failures have on users. The system allows for easy prioritization of the failure modes, which can then be used to drive targeted design or manufacturing improvements.
