Brick veneer

Looking to build an addition to a solid brick house in Ontario. From looking at the technical information it should be possible to construct with Durisol and a brick veneer. The two examples that show Durisol continuing above grade have the brick veneer supported on a ledge extending beyond the basement wall. The example with timber frame above grade has the brick veneer supported directly on the basement wall. I should like to use Durisol for the entire wall above and below grade with the brick veneer directly on the basement wall. I am left with some questions about how best to do this.
